Last monday, Dave, Javi, Brandon, Samantha piled into my little 1995 subaru legacy , and headed west in hopes up sunny skies, slushy snow and L.A. snowbunnies. So, after a little detour to Dave's hometown, we were on our way. The original plan was to drive to St George the first day and spend the night at some babes' house that Javi knew, but after leaving so late, we decided to just send it and drive all night straight to the beach. Huntington Beach of course! Afterwards we went to the Sole Technology HQ and we got to skate their TF. Soo sick!!!
4 hours and an overheated soobie later, we finally arrived at Big Bear to our SICK hotel right next to the lake! It was definitely time to crash after our long day.
We spend the next 4 days shredding our little hearts out enjoying then sun and amazing park that Bear is famous for! On the fourth day, Hobush decided he wanted to do a little contest called the TransAm, so, he did and, he won. No big deal. Not to mention that he also filmed a ridiculous edit while we were out there. Kid is seriously unstoppable this year. Anyways, so after after a little bit of "celebration" we decided to go out and say our goodbyes to Bear ha ha and 2 minus 1 turned into about 8 runs, this, plus riding with Cook and some other rad dudes that i just met made for basically the most fun i've ever had on a snowboard!
But finally, it was time to go, so we packed up the car (this time it was almost to much since Brandon had to go and win that contest, lllike an asshole!) and we headed down to Anaheim to see all the family that i haven't seen in 2 years! (I'm a terrible nephew/grandson/cousin i guess.. ha)
After a night of catching up, and AMAZING food, it was time to head home.
It was a great week, thanks to Brian Cook for hooking us up!
and yes, to my suprise, the fucking SOOB made the trip!
